Fantasy action-RPG Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, as we have known since June, is getting a graphically updated remaster – although not in August, as the initial leak suggested, but rather on September 8. Either way, the remaster is called Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, and yes, that really is the title, but what’s more important right now is that aside from the extra visual polish, it will also be receiving some additional content next year in the form of a brand-new expansion titled Fatesworn. I suppose that’s one more excuse to jump back into the world of Amalur even if you’ve already completed it back in 2012.

Re-Reckoning’s Standard Edition is set to retail for €39.99/$39.99/L34.99, and will contain the base game, while the so-called Fate Edition will include both the main game and the Fatesworn expansion, but will instead cost €54.99/$54.99/L47.99. There’s also a Collector’s Edition planned (priced at $109.99/€109.99/L99.99) that includes an Alyn Shir figurine, a custom keychain, five pieces of artwork, the soundtrack, and a unique game box. Check out this video below to see what the contents of the Collector’s Edition will look like:

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
