A creepy house where potentially spooky things happen? Check. Unreal Engine 4? Check. Kickstarter campaign? Check. Visage, a horror game from SadSquare Studio is building exactly the kind of horror game I want to play – and the kind you, too, would most likely want to play if you enjoyed the semi-recent P.T. demo and some of the classic Silent Hill installments. You might already know this if you’ve looked at the screenshots or the video on the game’s Kickstarter campaign, but Visage looks pretty gorgeous, if I do say so myself. In its story, you will wander through a lonely, normal-looking (yet nonetheless creepy) house where several people have died in brutal ways, as it usually is the case with such houses. I’m not exactly sure what you’ll uncover, but “dark entities” will be involved, so probably nothing nice. And that’s the way it should be.

Visage is currently shooting for a relatively modest $35,000 (CAD) on Kickstarter with a January 2017 release in mind for PC, plus a $45,000 stretch goal hoping to add Xbox One and PS4 versions as well.
