What would it be like to be stuck in an endless loop with a cat? And in an anomaly hunting horror game, no less? Well, we’re soon going to find out, because developer Steelkrill Studio’s The Stairway 7 is about what I’ve just described: you find yourself lost in the titular stairway, and things seem to continue on and on in an endless loop as you climb the steps... except not everything is quite the same every time. If you find an anomaly – anything that might be out of a place – you have to go down the stairs and get rid of it. Otherwise, you can continue on up. Make sure not to miss any anomalies, though, as negligence can have... very unfortunate consequences. Potentially deadly ones. Also, in case you’re wondering: yes, you can pet the cat.
