Thunderful Publishing and Space Lizard Studio will be launching horror roguelite Paper Cut Mansion later this year, came a recent announcement from the two teams. The game, which features unique papercraft visuals inspired by the works of Tim Burton and Jim Henson, stars a detective by the name of Toby, who ventures into the titular mansion to uncover its many secrets and mysteries. Being a roguelite, Paper Cut Mansion will offer procedurally generated runs, during which you’ll tackle puzzles and quests, collect clues, fight enemies and unlock new gear and skills that will help you along the way – and that’s not even mentioning the game’s dimension-hopping mechanic, which allows you to travel to alternate version of various locations in order to experience different aesthetics and gameplay.
