At long last, Sony has unveiled the full list of pre-loaded titles to appear on the company’s mini-console called the PlayStation Classic. Here it is:
- Battle Arena Toshinden
- Cool Boarders 2
- Destruction Derby
- Final Fantasy VII
- Grand Theft Auto
- Intelligent Qube
- Jumping Flash
- Metal Gear Solid
- Mr Driller
- Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
- Rayman
- Resident Evil Director’s Cut
- Revelations: Persona
- Ridge Racer Type 4
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
- Syphon Filter
- Tekken 3
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
- Twisted Metal
- Wild Arms
If I’m to be perfectly honest, I find the list to be somewhat lacking. It’s clearly missing some truly important and iconic titles from the original console’s library such as Silent Hill, Tomb Raider or Castlevania: Symphonia of the Night, just to name a few. Nonetheless, for anyone who still feels enticed by the the PlayStation Classic, it will be available on December 3 for roughly a hundred dollars, and will include two controllers right off the bat.
