Remember Ghost of a Tale? It’s that game about a tiny little mouse embarking on a big, big adventure: a third-person adventure inspired by Dark Souls, the Zelda franchise and Ico, among others. The game is Lionel Gallat’s labor of love, a former senior animator who had worked with companies like Dreamworks and Universal Studios on several movies over the course of the last 15 years. Roughly a year ago, he turned to IndieGogo to fund his dream, and succeeded – which is exactly why you can see Ghost of a Tale in its present form. Which brings us to today’s topic, the shiny new trailer released just recently, looking mighty convincing. You may remember the very early
alpha footage of the game from a year ago, and I must add, a year can make a huge difference – this time, Ghost of a Tale is looking better and Dark Souls-ier than ever.
The game is scheduled for an early 2015 release date on PC and Xbox One.
