Well, these have been an interesting past few weeks in terms of PC releases, that’s for sure. After the surprise announcement of the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy last month, all eyes are upon Sega right now, as the company has just recently teased a PC version of the much-loved PS3 strategy game, Valkyria Chronicles, on Twitter. At the moment, all we really have is a quick announcement, with a promise of more information to be revealed soon.

Valkyria Chronicles was first released in 2008 as a Playstation 3 exclusive, telling a story set on the continent of Europa, a land loosely based upon World War II-era Europe. The plot focuses on a small group of Gallian soldiers who fight a desperate battle against the invading East European Imperial Alliance. The game was followed by two PSP-exclusive sequels, only the first of which – Valkyria Chronicles 2 – was officially localized in the west.

UPDATE: The game has since been made available for pre-purchase on Steam. It will be released on November 11, and will include all previously released DLC from the PS3 version.
