You love indie games, don’t you? Well, so do we! There’s no shortage of them, and every week brings with it brand-new releases worth checking out – which is where we come in, offering you this handy list of promising upcoming titles.

So, without further ado, here are some cool, promising games coming out this week! Enjoy!

Hordes of Hunger (May 6)

A dark fantasy survivorslike from the creators of the immensely entertaining Blood West, Hordes of Hunger throws you into a world under siege by grotesque abominations – in the role of the warrior Mirah, you’ll fight for survival against waves upon waves of monsters as you create your own build, wield a wide variety of weapons and unlock special abilities. The Horde is upon you, and waits for no one – so be ready.

Deck of Haunts (May 7)

If people asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up, and you answered with “haunted house”, then boy do I have good news for you. In Deck of Haunts, you’ll get to design and create your very own creepy mansion during the day, then proceed to lure in unsuspecting victims at night – by playing a variety of cards, you’ll be able to call forth supernatural phenomena to slowly but surely drive your “guests” towards insanity. Because that’s what haunted houses do. Yup.

Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall (May 8)

And while we’re on the topic of management, let’s take a look at Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall – in this sequel to 2020’s Yes, Your Grace, you’ll step into the role of a king tasked with ruling over an entire kingdom. Now, as you might imagine, this is no easy task, so prepare to make heavy decisions that all come with potentially grave consequences. Hey, no one said being a ruler was simple and stress-free.

The Midnight Walk (May 8)

The Midnight Walk, with its lovably Tim Burton-esque aesthetic, will have you befriend a lantern creature called Potboy – together with him and the light he bears, you’ll explore a world stricken by darkness and untold horrors. It’s also worth noting that the game was inspired by handcrafted clay art and stop motion animation, which lends the whole project a uniquely artistic feel that’s an absolute joy to look at.
