Chinese indie developer FYQD Studio has announced that its futuristic, bite-sized FPS Bright Memory – Episode 1 will be remade into a full game titled Bright Memory: Infinite. In its announcement post, FYQD noted that the plot established in Episode 1 will not be continued, and that Bright Memory: Infinite will instead feature a completely remade storyline and levels. On the bright side, Infinite will be available as a free upgrade to all owners of Episode 1 – in fact, its store page will change to Bright Memory: Infinite once the latter is out. Play time is expected to be around 3 hours, although the price will be increased slightly, the team explained.
Bright Memory: Infinite takes place in the year 2036, with mysterious phenomena appearing in the skies all across the globe, leaving scientists baffled. The so-called Super Nature Research Organization sends in a few of its members to investigate, and as it turns out, the incident is somehow connected to the survival of two worlds.
