Sword of Convallaria, the highly promising tactical JRPG, is going to get a fairly meaty playable demo during this February’s Steam Next Fest. Available between February 5 and 12, the demo will offer a solid 10 hours’ worth of adventures – and plenty of traditional, grid-based tactical battles – to interested gamers, which, I imagine, will be a pretty good way to see if the game is for you. Paying homage to tactical RPG classics and brought to life with charming pixel art, Sword of Convallaria will also feature music by the illustrious Hitoshi Sakimoto, the Japanese composer whose works you may have heard in games like Final Fantasy XII, Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story and many, many more. Here’s another thing that might catch your attention: the game will be completely free to play, and will be available on Steam, iOS, and Android, with console ports arriving at a later date. Color us interested.
