Developer Nayuta Studio has revealed Hollow Cocoon, a first-person horror game taking place in Japan during the 1980s. Players will step into the role of Minato Jinba, a young university student who returns to his mother’s hometown, the quiet mountain village of Ichinose, when he learns that his grandmother is in critical condition – this seemingly normal family visit, however, soon turns into a living nightmare, with Minato uncovering various buried secrets and forgotten truths about the past. Hollow Cocoon is currently in development for PC with a planned release date of Q4 2023, which, let’s be honest, isn’t that far away.
