You may remember
Sword Coast Legends, the surprise announcement from n-Space and Digital Extremes, a game taking place in the good old Forgotten Realms (see: Baldur’s Gate and friends) we all know and love. The game, however, stood out not just for this, but also for its promising Dungeon Master Mode, allowing one person to take on the role of the DM and guide the flow of the adventure for his fellow players, hopefully without leading them into certain death. And while that is something we didn’t get to see just yet, we did end up seeing some actual gameplay, nonetheless. The ten minute video opens up with a stereotypical 4-player DnD party entering the sewers below the city of Luskan, then making their way into the slums and the cemetery, facing off against a few dozen undead monstrosities along the way.
We didn’t get a demonstration of the DM mode just yet, but that ought to happen in a future video.
