That’s right, the mostly exploration-based footage of Square Enix’s upcoming JRPG superstar, shown at last month’s Paris Games Week has now made its way online in all its 1080p glory. Admittedly, the video itself shows a, how should I put this, not so action-packed side of the game. The footage shown consist primarily of the four male protagonists roaming the massive countryside, stumbling upon a monster here, a kitty cat there – and that’s about it. Graphically, the game still looks pretty impressive, so if you need some more Final Fantasy in your life, you might want to check this out.

There’s a second video as well, offering a quick glimpse into the technical background of the new gameplay footage.

We’re still not sure exactly when Final Fantasy XV will be released, but remember, a demo for the game will be included in the HD remake of Final Fantasy Type-0, scheduled to be released on March 17 (US) and 20 (Europe), 2015.
