As announced during Paris Games Week, the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy XV has gone gold, and is steadily marching towards its release date at the end of November. During the event, we’ve also seen plenty of new gameplay from Square Enix’s open world JRPG, including – but not limited to – eating noodles, hunting monsters, and racing around with Chocobos. Oh, and an unfortunate accident where the PS4 running the game on-stage overheated during a battle. But hey, accidents happen.

Square Enix has also revealed that it wants to greatly expand the game’s life by adding separate DLC chapters focusing on each of the male leads, with gameplay tailored to their individual play styles, but this aspect is still currently in development. They also plan to offer an online multiplayer co-op mode, where all four male characters are controlled by a player.

Final Fantasy XV releases worldwide on November 29 for PS4 and Xbox One.
