Perennial Order, the so-called “plant horror” game from developer Gardenfiend Games, is out now. Brought to life with a 2D painterly style inspired by Dark Souls and Princess Mononoke, the game will take you to a medieval world infested by botanical monstrosities where every encounter is a deadly boss fight with 1-hit death mechanics – yup, that means if you get hit even once, it’s Game Over, man. That said, you don’t necessarily have to take on all the eldritch plant-beasts of the storyline on your own, as the game also supports both local and online co-op for two players. The more the merrier, as they say. Along with the release comes a trailer showcasing the dark and grotesque world of the game, which you can view below:

Perennial Order is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games), PlayStation and Xbox.
