Lichenvale, a dark fantasy action game from solo developer Filip Zemljak that focuses primarily on fast-paced, first-person melee combat, will be coming to both Steam and the Epic Games Store on April 24. Taking a somewhat unique approach to its premise, the game actually has you dive deep into your own nightmares to fight the manifestations of your innermost fears… with the power of swords and sorcery. Inspired by games from the 90s, Lichenvale will have you sprint, dash and parry your way to victory with sword in hand, delivering swift strikes while slinging spells to defeat a variety of baddies, from spooky skeletons to vicious werewolves – provided you’ve got the skills for it.
