Greg Russo has partnered with Machinima and signed on as screenwriter to create an adaptation of Monolith Productions’ classic horror FPS, F.E.A.R. A gamer himself, Russo is also working on two other video game-related movie projects: a new Mortal Kombat adaptation, as well as an untitled Resident Evil reboot.

Available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, F.E.A.R. saw you in the role of an agent working with the so-called First Encounter Assault Recon in an attempt to stop a dangerous madman called Paxton Fettel, as well as Alma Wade, a young girl with terrifying psychic abilities. The game spawned two sequels in the following years.
