I know this is most likely the first thing that’s going to be on everyone’s mind, so let’s actually address it right away – yes, Absention looks gorgeous. We don’t know too much about the game yet, other than the fact that it’s a horror game revolving around a time-loop and a lakeside house where you are forced to relive the same night over and over again while a mysterious “thing” hunts you in the dark. Absention's gameplay as well, with the house itself changing its layout on every playthrough, offering randomly generated rooms, objects and even solutions.
The game is currently in a pre-alpha state, so there’s still tons of work left to be done, no doubt. Still, it looks beautiful, the premise is exciting, and with the added Oculus Rift support, could be something truly terrifying. We’re looking forward to it.
