Developer Keen Games has revealed a massive roadmap for Enshrouded, its hugely popular co-op survival action-RPG. It’s quite a large image, mind you, with tons of features, both big and small, put on display to represent the team’s vision for what they’d like Enshrouded to be in the future – that said, it’s also been significantly influenced by the so-called Feature Upvote platform, where the community could vote for what they wished to see included in the game. The features you see on the roadmap are expected to debut in the next few patches of the game: other than a few obvious updates regarding improved performance (who doesn’t like that?), some of the more notable ones include an animal farming system, a weather system, new building materials, new enemies and bosses, and quite excitingly, the ability to enter portals and visit other servers. The team is also planning to implement a handful of major additions before the end of 2024, such as instanced dungeons, world events and more biomes.
