Enjoy some 90s and early 00s nostalgia with Dreamsettler and Slayers X

90s and early 2000s nostalgia is in the air – publisher No More Robots and developer Tendershoot have announced not one, but two games that recapture the essence of that lovely era from 20+ years ago… and both take place in the same universe as 2019’s Hypnospace Outlaw.

Dreamsettler is essentially described as an early 00s internet simulator set in the year 2003, where you take on the role of a private investigator out to solve a variety of cases from small to big. Players will get to meet strange characters, browse bizarre websites, download apps and check their emails to uncover all the mysteries that this lovingly nostalgic recreation has to offer. That said, if you’re looking for something a little more action-packed, Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer might be more up your alley, and yes, that really is the title. Let some true 90s energy flow into your body as you blast your way through the evil Psyko Syndicate in order to save the world in this authentic boomer shooter. Sound good?
