Ender Lilies, the rather satisfying Soulslike/Metroidvania hybrid from earlier this summer (read our review!), has received its 1.1.0 patch – and it came with a bevy of extra features that might interest players wishing to return to the kingdom of Land’s End one more time. Chief among these additional features is a timed boss rush mode called Maligned Memories that has you fight every single one of the game’s challenging bosses in quick succession, while Purified Memories lets you refight any previously defeated boss one at a time. In addition to all of the above, there’s also a separate new menu for rewatching in-game cutscenes, as well as a New Game+ mode that allows you to re-experience Lily’s journey on a higher difficulty while keeping all her unlocked skills and abilities. Finally, for those looking for the ultimate test of skill, Blightborn Modes allow for the complete customization of various in-game parameters, letting players create custom-tailored challenge runs.
