Indeed, you read that right – Activision is bringing everyone’s favorite medieval combat simulator to PS3 and Xbox 360. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare was released quite a bit of time ago – all the way back in 2012 – exclusively for PC: the game had players fighting in arenas with nothing to rely on but their trusty weapons of choice, be it an axe, a sword, a bow, or whatever else their chosen class granted them. However, what made Chivalry quite exciting is that it wasn’t just another hack and slash attempt at imitating medieval combat: it actually took things a step further and made you think before each swing, aiming for specific body parts or blocking just at the right time from the right angle. Precision and timing was the name of the game, where every mistake had severe consequences – including lost limbs. Players could duke it out in chaotic free for alls and slightly more organized team deathmatches, one-on-one duels and so on.

And soon, you’ll get to experience just that on consoles, as the PS3/Xbox 360 release of Chivalry is due this fall.
