Developer rose-engine has revealed a new trailer for sci-fi survival horror game Signalis. Signalis invites you to a dystopian world of dark corridors with flickering lights and unspeakable horrors – according to the storyline, Elster, a technician Replika, crash-lands on a distant planet and ends up having to venture into an abandoned reeducation facility in search of answers. The game offers a traditional survival horror experience in the vein of Resident Evil and Silent Hill, presented with the visual flair of a classic sci-fi anime; it promises to be a slow-paced psychological journey with elements of cosmic horror (eagle-eyed trailer viewers have no doubt spotted a book titled The King in Yellow), and indeed, what I’ve seen of it so far looks beyond impressive. Have a look yourself:

Signalis is currently in development for PC, with no specific release date set.
