Originally released on Xbox 360 and later on PC and PS Vita, Stranger of Sword City was a hardcore dungeon crawler JRPG where you are placed in the role of a stranger in a strange land: your flight crashed, you head through a mysterious portal and suddenly you find yourself in a land of fantasy and wonders. What’s more, you’re apparently the Chosen One, too. According to developer Experience (Demon Gaze), the game breaks away from the light-hearted nature of their other titles and plans to offer a challenging first-person dungeon crawling experience complete with perma-death and other lovely features. And although the game has so far only been available in Japan, it will soon be making its way to western shores as well: according to NIS America, Stranger of Sword City will be arriving in North America and Europe next March on PS Vita.
