So one of the bigger announcements during
this year’s E3 was Dark Souls 3 – the game’s existence had leaked shortly before the actual start of the show, so we knew about the surprise in advance. Still, that hardly changes the fact that a new Dark Souls would be on the way and that it’s going to make us die over and over again for the nth time now. At the time, a brief teaser and a
few leaked screenshots were all we could feast our eyes upon. Not anymore, though: we have a new gameplay trailer straight from Gamescom, featuring skeletal monsters, massive dragons and plenty of other nightmarish monstrosities. It looks pretty cool, trust us. Or don’t, and just watch the trailer yourself.
Dark Souls 3 is scheduled to be released sometime early next year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
