Doom Eternal, id Software’s sequel to 2016’s Doom reboot, is out now on PC and consoles. The game aims to deliver the same amount of gory, no-holds-barred demon-slaying action you know and love from the original with stakes higher than ever before – set two years after the events of the 2016 prequel, Doom Eternal sees Earth being overrun by demonic forces, and you returning to your home planet to put an end to their hellish invasion once and for all. Doom Eternal also features a new, asymmetric 2v1 mode called Battlemode that lets one player, controlling the Doom Slayer, duke it out against two other players who both take the forms of demons.
