Developer DO MY BEST and publisher tinyBuild have launched The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales, a narrative game with turn-based combat where you play a writer-turned-thief capable of literally diving into the fantastical worlds of books. Players will take on the role of Etienne Quist, a former author who loses the ability to write after being convicted of a terrible crime – so, in order to overcome his writer’s block, he accepts the offer of a criminal boss to steal a variety of legendary items (such as the fabled Excalibur or the mighty hammer of Thor) from numerous literary worlds, all the while engaging with their many eccentric characters.
