Fans of Someday You’ll Return will be pleased to hear that developer CBE Software and publisher Bohemia Interactive have just launched a Director’s Cut version of the title, expanding on the 2020 psychological horror game from both a narrative and a gameplay perspective. Starring Daniel, a father looking for his missing daughter, Someday You’ll Return invites players into the dark Moravian wilderness in search of the truth, where they’ll have to solve various puzzles, look for clues and craft mystical potions in order to survive their journey into the woods. To go into some specifics, the Director’s Cut edition features improved narrative pacing and brand-new story elements, along with additional puzzles to tackle and optional areas to investigate, as well as over 30 minutes of new music, improved lighting and character models, and even a photo mode.
