Darkest Dungeon’s upcoming DLC campaign has just been dated: you’ll be able to explore its brand new Lovecraftian horrors come June 19, developer Red Hook Studios announced. The expansion’s storyline concerns a mysterious comet of alien origin that crashes into the local farm, unleashing untold cosmic abominations. Titled The Color of Madness – and no doubt inspired by Lovecraft’s short story The Colour Out of Space – the DLC will offer a new region to explore, an expanded soundtrack, as well as new enemies and bosses to fight. It will also feature Endless Quest, a game mode where you have to survive against unending waves of enemies.
The DLC will be priced at $4.99 and will launch on PC, Mac and Linux.
