Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, the follow-up to the dark fantasy metroidvania/soulslike hybrid Ender Lilies, will be leaving Early Access on January 22 and launch its full 1.0 version. Taking place in the so-called Land of Fumes, the game will invite players to explore a gruesome post-apocalyptic world where artificial life forms known as Homunculi have been driven to insanity by the toxic fumes rising from underground. The storyline will focus on Lilac, an Attuner capable of healing those afflicted by this madness, as she ventures into a devastated realm to save both people and Homunculi while uncovering her lost memories in the process.

Ender Lilies was a game we reviewed back in 2021, and were thoroughly impressed by its somber atmosphere and enjoyable marriage of metroidvania and soulslike elements, calling it “a world absolutely worth exploring.”

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist will be available on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4-5, and Xbox Series X/S.
