Developer Dark Star and publisher Another Indie have announced Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption, a game heavily inspired by Dark Souls – something that becomes quite apparent from its first trailer. On your journey to discover amnesiac protagonist Adam’s past, you will trudge through a number of harrowing locations, fighting a variety of bizarre and monstrous bosses that represent the seven deadly sins. In a similar fashion to Dark Souls, Sinner promises a series of tough challenges – one particularly interesting feature of the title is how the player will have to “level down” before boss fights, sacrificing a stat point prior to each encounter.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is slated for a Q1 2018 release and will be launching PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
