Developer Anshar Studios is running a Kickstarter campaign for Gamedec, an isometric cyberpunk RPG with a focus on solving crimes in virtual worlds. Gamedec takes place in the XXII. century, in a world where stunning virtual realities blend together almost seamlessly with the real world – however, the dazzling outer surface hides a sinister inner layer. As a private investigator, it’s your job to solve real crimes in unreal worlds, but the cases you’ll tackle will rarely lend themselves to easy, straightforward solutions, and no decision will be without consequences.

Gamedec’s initial Kickstarter goal of $50,000 has already been reached at the time of writing, meaning it’s time for the campaign to work on its many stretch goals: these include the addition of a hardcore mode that disables reloading (thus making all your choices permanent), additional interactions and character customization options, and even a brand-new virtual world – either a post-apocalyptic wasteland, or a Lovecraftian hellscape.

Gamedec is currently being developed for PC with a planned release window of Q4 2020. A beta version will also be available during Q2 2020.
