Cris Tales, a game that’s been described as a love letter to classic JRPGs, will be coming out sometime in July. Sporting some genuinely breathtaking, cartoon-esque visuals, Cris Tales plays like a traditional member of its genre with tactical, turn-based battles… except there’s a twist. Said twist has to do with time: while exploring the game’s locations, you’ll get to see the present, the past and the future at the same time, allowing you to decide how to manipulate events in order to alter the course of history. Said time-manipulation can also be used to turn the tide of battle: for example, the demo would make you cast a water spell on an enemy’s shield, then fast-forward into the future to make it immediately rust. The demo, by the way, is still available to download via Steam.
