Developer Psychodev has shown off a launch trailer for Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness, an upcoming point & click adventure game set to release on March 23. Featuring a tale inspired by the works of master storyteller H.P. Lovecraft, the project serves as a prequel to 2017’s Chronicle of Innsmouth, and takes place a good decade before the events of that game. It stars Lone Carter, a detective who survives a seemingly deadly encounter with eldritch horrors and starts investigating some of the mysterious deaths and disappearances cropping up in the area.
