Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, a stylish Chinese mythology-inspired action RPG from developer Softstar Technology (Beijing) will be making its debut on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this summer, came a recent announcement from publisher Eastasiasoft Limited. The game, which serves as the seventh – but nonetheless perfectly standalone – installment in a series that’s been going strong since the mid-1990s, revolves around a small group of skilled martial artists who embark on a journey involving the three great clans that dominate the world: humans, gods and demons. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, the game will feature vibrant visuals and upgraded combat by replacing the turn-based system of the older titles with fast-paced, real-time battles for all your flashy, over the top action needs. Also, did I mention there’s a card battler minigame? Because there is one. As a side note, it’s worth mentioning that if you’d rather not wait for the console versions, the game is already available on PC.
