Developer Morteshka has announced Black Book, a game that marries the characteristics of adventure games and card-based RPGs in one, Russian folklore-inspired package. The game tells the story of a girl named Vasilisa who, after losing her beloved, sets out on a journey to find the seals of the titular Black Book, said to grant any wish to its wielder. You’ll have to collect spell cards to bolster your magical arsenal as you travel across the 19th century Russian countryside facing – and often exorcising – demons and other such nasties.
