Developer Brian Lynch will be releasing REDSHOT, a fast-paced metroidvania with bullet time elements, on August 2. The game puts you in the shoes of Jack "Goose" Redshot, a man who ends up crash landing and getting stranded on a peculiar fringe planet, and must do everything in his power to save it from invaders. Set in a massive, non-linear world, REDSHOT will allow you to explore the land to your heart’s content in any order you see fit while wielding deadly weapons – and the even deadlier power of bullet time – in order to fight numerous enemies and bosses while looking like an absolute superhero. So, the question on the game’s Steam page becomes quite apt indeed: can you save the royal city from total destruction? Can you do it with style? On August 2, we’ll find out.
