Developer com8com1 Software and publisher Headup have unveiled Bloodshed, a first-person boomer shooter with roguelite elements. Sporting nostalgic, retro-style graphics, the game will have players fight a desperate battle against waves of otherworldly monstrosities as they earn experience, upgrade their weapons, then hop right back into the slaughter for the next round. Being a roguelite, Bloodshed will let you keep your money after death and spend it on persistent upgrades to help you strike back against the dreaded Cult before they get a chance to resurrect their god and effectively kickstart the apocalypse. The game also offers a varied roster of playable heroes with different pros and cons, allowing you to experiment with multiple builds and keep things fresh during every run.
