Koji Igarashi’s spiritual successor to Castlevania, titled Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, has received a new trailer during the most recent Nintendo Direct, and with it came the announcement of the release window: summer 2019. The game, originally Kickstarted back in 2015 and several years in the making, is a return to the side-scrolling action/platformer style of Castlevania that we know and love from classics such as Symphony of the Night. It’ll be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.PS Vita and Wii U ports were also originally planned but have since been cancelled.
