Brainwash Gang and publisher Headup have revealed an October 19 launch date for Laika: Aged Through Blood on PC. Described as a western-inspired “motorvania”, the game stars a determined coyote mother-warrior who must go on a dangerous quest to fight the occupying forces trying to oppress her tribe. The story itself is described as one focused on loss, revenge and mother-daughter relationships, while the gameplay is pretty much what you’d expect from a metroidvania where you can ride a bike and shoot people in slow motion while doing backflips – lots of high-speed action, challenging boss fights to tackle, and a large world of many different zones to speed through.
