Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3, currently available in Early Access, has, at long last, revealed its launch window of August 2023 – and while that’s still quite far away, it’s at least good to know exactly when we’ll be able to gather our parties and venture forth once again. There’s also a new trailer out, which you can view below; expect plenty of magic, splashes of action… and a certain familiar face at the end. Additionally, hardcore fans of the series will be happy to find out that the game’s Collector’s Edition is now available for pre-order: limited to only 25,000 copies worldwide, the package will include a massive Mindflayer vs. Drow battle diorama, a 160-page artbook, a tadpole keyring, a large metal d20, a cloth map of the world of Faerun, character sheets, stickers, three Magic the Gathering booster packs (this one’s limited to the first 15,000 orders) and a certificate of authenticity.

Larian is also organizing a new “Panel From Hell” stream for December 14th (10am PST / 6pm GMT), which will feature Geoff Keighley as a guest and is set to dive into the contents of Patch 9.
