Released for the 3DS in 2014, Azure Striker Gunvolt was Inti Creates’ fast-paced, Mega Man-esque action game that ended up getting ported to both PC and Switch later down the line. And though the Switch version is often brought up as the title’s definitive release, a recent update to the Steam port helped alleviate some of the latter’s most glaring issues. More specifically, the PC version has now been patched to support 60 FPS to make it run just as smooth as the Switch edition. The update, in addition to fixing a few minor bugs, also removed the top/bottom screen layout of the game and instead made them into one screen.
