Inti Creates has announced Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, the third installment in its fast-paced side-scrolling action game series. As the 2-minute “first look” trailer very much showcases, Gunvolt 3 will offer gameplay similar to that of its predecessors, and will even feature a brand-new playable character in the form of the sword-wielding shrine maiden, Kirin. The announcement has also revealed that Keiji Inafune, the action supervisor on the first two titles, will once again return alongside series director Yoshihisa Tsuda to help develop new ideas for the sequel.
