For some of you, Routine might ring a bell or two, but if not, we won’t blame you, as its first trailer was revealed all the way back in 2012, with some quick alpha gameplay footage to follow in 2013, but that was it as far as footage was concerned. Well, until now, because we have yet another quick trailer, one that actually goes on to announce the release date as March of 2017.

Routine aimed to take a different approach from many other horror games in the way it focused on creating a “retro sci-fi” look – that is, what we thought the future would look like back in the 80s, something we discussed when we first covered the title. Inspired by films such as The Thing and Alien, and resembling the System Shock series in its premise (being stuck on a creepy, abandoned space station), Routine does look highly promising, and we’ll be very much looking forward to see if the long wait has been worth it.
