Those wondering what happened to Amanda Ripley following her intense adventure aboard the ill-fated Sevastopol Station will have to wonder no more: according to a new announcement from Dark Horse Comics, Ellen Ripley’s resourceful daughter – and the main protagonist to the brilliant Alien: Isolation– will take the lead in Aliens: Resistance, an upcoming comic book series that will work as a sequel not just to Isolation, but 2016’s Aliens: Defiance as well. According to the basic premise of the comic, Ripley will team up with former Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks “to expose a sinister bio-weapons program”. The series will consist of four volumes, the first of which is set to be released on January 23, 2019.
