Alpha Protocol, Obsidian’s “espionage RPG” about spies and secret agents from almost a decade ago, is no longer available for purchase on Steam – and as always, there is a reason for it. SEGA, the publisher for the 2010 title, confirmed to Eurogamer that the unceremonious removal came as a result of an expiration of music rights. Keep in mind, though, that said removal does not affect existing owners of the game, meaning if you already have Alpha Protocol in your Steam library, you can still very much download and play it.
