Allison Road resurrected from the dead

The quite obviously Silent Hills/PT-inspired Allison Road has a bit of a rough history behind it. So back in 2015, it awed everyone with a fairly convincing Kickstarter campaign – realistic graphics, P.T. vibes all over the place, that sort of thing. And albeit the campaign itself was eventually cancelled, it was later picked up by Team17, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. For a while, that is, until the project was mysteriously cancelled earlier this summer.

Not all hope is lost, however. Allison Road creator Christian Kesler spoke to IGN about continuing work on the game on his own – a project that started as a solo effort a good two years ago. In fact, he created most of what you saw in last year’s prototype. Kesler also noted that he had made some changes to the game, including its storyline, but did not give out any further details –still, we’re more than happy to know the project’s alive and kicking once again.
