Developer Eggnut and publisher Raw Fury have revealed Tails: The Backbone Preuldes, a prequel to last year’s pixel art adventure game Backbone. Set in a “post-noir dystopian vision of Vancouver”, the game will feature four new characters with intertwined stories, themes of growth and change, as well as new gameplay elements, puzzles and branching choices. Albeit Tails was introduced as a narrative and thematic prequel, developer Eggnut notes that the two games can be played in any order; it all depends on how you’d like to see the story unfold.
