Skul: The Hero Slayer has a launch date for its 1.0 release – the indie action-platformer will be leaving Steam Early Access on January 21, developer SouthPAW Games and publisher NEOWIZ have announced. Set in a world where demonic forces have been annihilated and taken prisoner by the human Imperial Army, it’s up to you, a lone skeleton warrior, to take up arms and fight back. Sporting gorgeous pixel art graphics and employing roguelike elements to make levels unpredictable for players, the game also features several interchangeable skulls (character classes, essentially) that each grant a different set of skills and abilities. It’s also worth noting that the 1.0 version will add a bevy of additional content as well, including the final two chapters of the storyline.
