So once upon a time there was a JRPG for the original Nintendo DS called 7th Dragon – it was only released in Japan. Then it got a couple of spinoffs on PSP later down the road, also exclusively in Japan. You might be starting to see a pattern here, but don’t lose hope: the series is finally coming westward through its latest installment, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD on the 3DS, and now we even have an English trailer to check out. 7th Dragon III’s story – as you might have guessed – is about a dragon intent on destroying humanity once it awakens. So you’re here to try and prevent that, naturally. The thing you should also note about the game is that it’s currently only been announced for a North American release, but not a European one. As for North America, the game is scheduled to launch this summer.
